Highs and Lows

When you photograph a sunset, it's always good to have something equally worthy of attention in the foreground. In this case, I stumbled upon this washout pit while I was wandering around my campsite, and I think it turned out pretty well with this beautiful little sunstar in the distance. And a few scattered clouds also helped, of course.
